Dutch IT consultancy firm Xebia acquires Polish software house PGS Software

Xebia closes the biggest purchase in its 20-years activity on the market. The Dutch company deals with IT consulting in the field of digital transformation. From software development to the cloud, data, artificial intelligence, software consulting, DevOps and Agile.

Following closure, Xebia will employ 3,100 employees in fourteen countries, and its group’s revenues will approach the EUR 200 million barrier. “We are pleased to partner with PGS Software to enhance our reach and ability to serve our customers globally,” said Anand Sahay, CEO at Xebia, and added: “Xebia aims to become an authority across all digital domains. With PGS Software’s many years of experience, know-how, and extensive network, we can now provide our clients with nearshore offerings in Poland and mixed shore models.”

Established in 2005, PGS Software is one of the largest Polish IT companies, employing over 800 professionals. Its clients are mainly foreign companies from Great Britain, Scandinavian countries and Germany. PGS Software will keep its own brand with added tagline ‘Proudly part of Xebia’ to its logo. Wojtek Gurgul, the CEO of PGS Software will become a member of Xebia’s global leadership.
