DXC Technology Opens New AI Center of Competence in Warsaw

October 3, 2025

DXC Technology, a Fortune 500 global IT services leader, has announced the launch of its new AI Center of Competence in Warsaw, Poland. The hub, already employing 500 data and AI experts, joins DXC’s growing global network of centers dedicated to building and scaling enterprise AI solutions.

The Warsaw center will help companies worldwide harness artificial intelligence to drive innovation, streamline operations, reduce costs, and increase efficiency.

Ferrovial and DXC Co-Develop AI Workbench

One of the first major beneficiaries is Ferrovial, a global infrastructure leader with more than 25,000 employees worldwide. Ferrovial is working closely with DXC engineers in Warsaw to develop AI Workbench, a next-generation generative AI platform that blends consulting, engineering, and secure enterprise services to accelerate responsible AI adoption.

“We are excited to tap into DXC’s global engineering expertise through the AI Center of Competence Center in Warsaw,” said Javier Lázaro, Digital Hub Director, Ferrovial. “We are working closely with DXC’s engineers on the development of AI Workbench, which we are already using across our organization to optimize decision-making and improve safety.”

DXC explains, AI Workbench integrates more than 30 intelligent agents capable of making real-time decisions. Ferrovial is already leveraging the platform to enhance operational management and elevate safety standards, enabling rapid responses to changing conditions and regulatory requirements.

Warsaw: A Rising European Investment Hub

DXC’s investment highlights Warsaw’s growing role as one of Europe’s top destinations for international investment. According to the “Financial Times – European Cities and Regions of the Future 2025” report, Warsaw ranks among the leading cities for foreign investors, praised for its strong economic growth, skilled talent pool, and favorable conditions for innovation and R&D.

In the top “major cities” categories, Warsaw moved from fourth in last year’s ranking to third this time, behind London in first and Dublin in second. The capital of Poland also ranked second in two key subcategories – Human Capital & Lifestyle and Business Friendliness – outperforming numerous European competitors.

A Global Network of AI Centers

The Warsaw AI hub is part of DXC’s expanding global AI network, which also includes centers in Bulgaria, India, the Philippines, and Spain. Its operations are built on three strategic pillars:

  • Resilient cloud infrastructure,
  • Intuitive AI interfaces,
  • A centralized R&D hub.

Pete McEvoy, DXC’s Managing Director for Data & AI, emphasized that the Center in Warsaw represents more than just another technology hub:

“The AI Center of Competence in Warsaw is not just about building technology – it’s about creating a global ecosystem for continuous learning, collaboration, and innovation. […] By bringing together the right people, refining processes, and leveraging cutting-edge technologies, we ensure our AI innovations are not only powerful but also practical, sustainable, and impactful.”
