Three known Polish universities have been nominated for the prestigious Elsevier Research Impact Leaders Award 2023 in the Engineering & Technologies category. The nominated institutions are Gdańsk University of Technology, Jagiellonian University of Kraków, and Opole University of Technology, all of which play essential roles in advancing scientific research and higher education in Poland.

The Elsevier award, presented by the prominent scholarly publishing company, aims to recognize and encourage exceptional contributions to research and scientific development. It represents an endorsement of the universities’ significant impact on scientific research and their efforts to raise the visibility of Polish science on the global stage.

The award ceremony is scheduled to take place in Łódź on October 26, coinciding with the meeting of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland.
