Polish companies are the largest group in Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe

novembre 29, 2022

For the 23rd time, the consulting firm Deloitte has recognized the 50 fastest-growing technology companies from Central and Eastern European countries. Nearly 400 entities from 16 countries in the region applied for this year’s Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Central Europe list. Technology companies in Central and Eastern Europe are maintaining a high growth rate, despite the many economic challenges facing countries in the region. The most numerous group of finalists were companies from Poland – as many as 17 of the 50 places in the ranking went to Polish companies.

Two-thirds of the awarded companies are from the software industry, indeed, they gained as many as 33 of the 50 ranking positions. The top spot goes to fintech companies, and one from the medical services industry. When considering the software industry, the average revenue growth compared to 2019 was 2351%, up 100 percentage points from 12 months ago.

“I didn’t think last year’s record would be broken. The fact that it happened so quickly is a clear indication of the growing importance of technology companies to the overall economy. More and more traditional sectors are being transformed by highly innovative products and services. We, as Fast 50 organizers, are happy to participate in this process by showcasing fast-growing companies from Central and Eastern Europe.” – said Michał Przybylski, Associate Director, Financial Advisory, M&A Corporate Finance, Deloitte.
