Reuters: Polish economy is expected to grow by 5% in 2021 and 2022

novembre 26, 2021

Reuters: The Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development reports that the Polish economy is expected to grow by 5% in 2021 and 2022.

Poland still remains in a strong position despite the changes in the market resulting from the pandemic and inflation. OECD Secretary-General Mathias Cormann told reporters, during his visit to Poland, that the growth will start to weaken a little from 2023 onwards, but still will remain strong.

The central bank raises its main interest rate in November from 0.5% to 1.25% because Polish CPI reached 6.8% year on year in October. Cormann said that regarding good Polish economic condition, fiscal support should be carefully adjusted to the current situation.
