The capital market consultancy First Derivative has announced the opening of a new office in Łódź, Poland to continue its global expansion strategy following the development of its offices in Toronto and Ireland.

Given that Poland has a great pool of IT professionals, First Derivative plans to hire more than 1000 highly-skilled engineers in data engineering, software development, cloud, and analytics. The strategy responds to the demand of customers to provide them with the optimal offering by developing near-shore centres of excellence. Besides, First Derivative will establish cooperation with local universities by launching a graduate training initiative. This approach aims to provide the highest quality services to support its clients in data management processes.

Szymon Kaczmarczyk will take charge of the new office in Łódź, he said:
