Intel has announced the purchase of the Polish startup RemoteMyApp
RemoteMyApp, a company from Polish Szczecin, is a cloud gaming service provider and helps businesses grow through cloud gaming solutions.
Intel’s acquisition has been one of the most significant transactions on the local startup market. It is an excellent opportunity for the world’s largest processor company that will provide streaming technology and games content to broad audiences.
Before Intel’s entrance, other big investors joined the cloud gaming space powered by RemoteApp, such as Tar Heel Capital, MCI’s Internet venture capital firm, and Deutsche Telekom’s investment fund Telekom Innovation Pool.
“The market is globalizing, and a company such as RemoteMyApp has a better chance of further dynamic development as part of a global group than as a startup financed by regional funds,” the president of MCI Capital, Tomasz Czechowicz said.
