This achievement firmly establishes Poland as a global gaming powerhouse, surpassing even Germany’s workforce size.
Over the past five years, the Polish game development industry has seen a staggering 250% growth in total revenues, a testament to its robustness. Moreover, Poland’s prowess extends beyond its borders, as it exports a remarkable 97% of its game production. Many titles have achieved global sales exceeding one million copies, with key markets spanning North America, Europe, and Asia.
Remarkably, Poland’s game development industry also stands out for its diversity. It boasts one of the world’s highest percentages of women working in gaming, creating an inclusive and dynamic environment. Global companies are also seeking to hire polish developers or create remote tech teams in Poland. The industry’s magnetic appeal transcends borders, drawing talent from around the globe to contribute to Poland’s thriving game development scene.
