Cisco to expand Global Service Centre in Poland

March 4, 2021

A website inwestycje.pl has informed that Cisco is going to develop AppDynamics unit in Krakow, and begin with employing 150 people. The company will expand its Global Service Centre in Poland that has existed since 2012, and has already employed around 2000 specialists in Krakow. The AppDynamics centre was created by Cisco in Poland in 2017, when San Francisco based AppDynamics was acquired by Cisco in line with its strategy of growing software-oriented business. The unit will provide the world’s largest clients with, among others, software engineering services.

According to Ramon Tancinco, the head of Cisco Global Services Center in Krakow, software engineering, together with customer experience and security, are priority areas for Cisco. Nick Bogaty, VP and Chief Revenue & Customer Officer at AppDynamics, on the other hand, highlights the value of Polish Cisco workers. “We are truly impressed with how much passion and engagement the people in the Krakow branch of Cisco approach the clients. We have already built a large team here, consisting mainly of software engineers, and we have plans to expand it further in the coming year” – Bogaty said.
